Hearing loss: Loss of hearing is generally categorized into conductive and sensorineural. Conductive implies a problem in the external ear, ear drum or three tiniest bones in the middle ear. The sensorineural deafness is due to disease of the auditory nerve(8th cranial nerve) or the cochlea (hearing apparatus).
