No.: There are several drops used to dilate the pupils. They vary by length of duration. None can cause damage.

No: These drops are used to help the ophthalmologist observe the back of the eye and are sometimes used for certain treatments. It would be extremely rare for them not to be reversed after they have accomplished their purpose.
