Spasms: This is a medicine to relieve spasms in the bladder or intestinal tract. These organs squeeze down in response to cholinergic nerve impulses. So, this medicine is an "anticholinergic" and opposes that action. Side effects can include dry mouth, nausea, constipation, and trouble urinating.
