PRK surgery?: I am guessing you mean prk surgery - which is a form of laser refractive surgery (he other being lasik). Prk produces good long term results with good stability. It is a little more uncomfortable in the beginning for a week or less. It is useful for certain patients with thinner corneas and to remove corneal scars. Discuss the optimum for you with your ophthalmologist.
