Lid infection: An eyelid infection (usually bacterial overgrowth) affecting the eyelashes with spillover to the conjunctiva - the white part of the eye. It can be treated with antibiotic/steroid eye drops and lid cleaning.

See below: Infection/inflammation (bacterial/viral /allergic) of the eyelids (blepharo) & transparent membrane (conjunctiva) lining inner part of eyelids & the sclera (white of eye) [see image]. Bacterial may be treated with topical antibiotics or ab/steroid combo. Allergic treated with allergy meds. Viral usually resolves on own.
