What is rsv and what causes it and how do you get rid of it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The "cold": Rsv (respiratory syncytial virus) is one of the common cold viruses. It accounts for 80% of the colds & other upper airway problems in season. It is acquired thru contact with the secretions or droplets. It infests the upper airway, injuring nasal & respiratory cells causing drainage. You self heal with minimal immunity & can get it every year.Small babies can have major pbs with the drainage &wheezing.
