Gyn oncology: Gynecologic oncologists are the physicians trained to take care of women's reproductive cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, peritoneal, fallopian tube and placental cancers). They perform the surgery and chemotherapy and help plan the radiation. Other doctors are not specifically trained to take care of these cancers.
