GYN oncology: These are the doctors who have trained in ob/gyn and than they have gone on and done additional training just to learn how to take care of women's gynecological cancers...Like cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers.

Women's Cancer: Gyn Oncologists are trained in treating gynecologic cancers (mostly uterus, cervix, ovary, vulva/vagina) using surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hormonal treatment and newer "biologicals". They are the "quarterback" of women's cancer care so if you have a gyn cancer you should have a gyn oncologist are part of your cancer fighting team from diagnosis through survivorship.
