Bone scan - does this test involve any exposure to radiation as in x ray?

Yes: To have a bone scan, a radioactive tracer is injected into the blood system. So yes, there is exposure to radiation.

Both radiation: Bone scan involves internal irradiation via IV injection for detection of bone metabolism and areas of abnormal skeletal uptake. Xray (ct or radiograph) is external irradiation for visualization of anatiomy and pathology. Both contribute to radiation dose. Both are ionizing radiation. Ultrasound and MRI do not involve irradiation.
