Yes: Yes. A pap smear will not affect a developing baby in the uterus. The cervical pap smear is done on the "outside" of the cervix (the part facing the vagina). The baby develops in the uterus, which is on the other side of the cervix. Be sure to mention to your family doctor or ob/gyn that you suspect you are pregnant; they can help you determine whether you are for sure.
