A member asked:

What are the differences between an epidemiologist and a pathologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: An epidemiologist does not have to be an md and they study the relationship of diseases to populations. Pathologist is an md. One definition and function of a pathologist is to be a doctor to other doctors, or serve as a consultant to other doctors. Pathologists perform diagnostic tests and interpretations of tissues, blood, urine etc.
