Speech/language eval: You would need the services of a speech/language pathologist if you experience difficulties with speech or language, such as can happen after a stroke, cancer of the voice box or brain, traumatic brain injury, neck surgery or with a vocal cord nodule.

Communication or: Swallowing disorder. Speech pathologists specialize in speech and swallowing disorders. They are not pathologists, the latter are medical doctors.
