Other testing: In addition to pressure measurements - which can be 'normal' in some cases, glaucoma is diagnosed by evaluating the damage caused to the optic nerve. This can be tested with visual field testing, optic nerve analysis using oct/hrt/gdx and serial stereo photographs. If damage is occurring, pressure lowering is the treatment. Travatan is a pressure lowering drop.
