A member asked:

What is a substitute for simcor (simvastatin and niacin) 40/10?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two meds: Simcor (simvastatin and niacin) is made up of Simvastatin and niacin, both cholesterol drugs. A substitute would be both of these in generic forms. I don't believe there is a simcor (simvastatin and niacin) 40/10, but there is a 40/1000, which is 40 mg of Simvastatin and 1000 mg of niacin.
