Yes: I'm a physician not a speech therapist, but have seen & cared for many stroke pts who rec'd & benefited from speech therapy when their stroke left them with a speech deficit. If you can find it near ur mom, music therapy also hold significant promise for stroke rehab. Also don't forget she is likely now considered high risk of having another stroke, so be sure to address prevention too! good luck!
