Usually bruising: Usually most people just get bruising. The higher the dose of asperin along with the Plavix (clopidogrel) the more pts tend to bleed.Rare allergies, drop in platelets, and severe life threatening bleeds.

Bleeding, like other: anti-clotting agents. Plavix, clopidogrel, inhibits platelets (cell fragments from megakaryocytes within the bone marrow & are usually the first to initiate the blood to clot) from becoming activated: sticking to tissue, attracting other platelets to stick & activating the 12 clotting proteins (which act in a chain reaction) to form thrombin which polymerizes & ties everything together into clots.
