Yes: Clopidogrel and any blood thinner always caries a risk of any kind of hemmorhage but generally the risk is low and less than the risk of a problem that the clopidogrel is trying to prevent. However in my career I have seen 2 or 3 cases of bone marrow failure in patients who have taken clopidogrel for a long period of time.
