Do doctors and psychiatrists still use secobarbital or amobarbital?

Pretty Rare: I can only think of one case I have seen in the past 10-15 years in which secobarbital was being used. In general, the barbiturates have too many difficulties associated with their use to still be commonly prescribed. There are many alternatives, including non-medication treatments, that can be helpful for anxiety without the risks associated with barbituate use.
