Is gestational diabetes curable?

Possibly.: Gestational diabetes usually goes away on its own after delivery. However, it is possible that women with gestational diabetes may continue to have problems with Insulin resistance after their pregnancy, and are at higher risk of going on to develop diabetes. They are also more likely to have gestational diabetes in subsequent pregnancies.
