Main six: Stroke, seizures, headaches, psychiatric symptoms, neuropathy, and cognitive dysfunction can all be neurologic symptoms of lupus. Caution has to be used in diagnosis as certain symptoms such as headaches have many other causes, even in patients with known lupus. If a stroke or seizures occur in lupus, prompt diagnosis and treatment are mandatory as these carry a worse prognosis.
