A member asked:

What is the expected length of life for someone with neurological lupus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: Neurological lupus is a broad category. Criteria include: neuropathies, depression, cognitive dysfunction, seizures and other central nervous system involvement.(cns) in general the prognosis depends on what type of neurological involvement the patient has. CNS lupus has a poorer prognosis than depression and cgnitive dysfunction.
