A member asked:

Can my limp affect back and hip injuries?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. James Chen answered

Specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery

Yes: Limping can abnormally load one extremity or side of the body compared to normal ambulation. This can definitely exacerbate injuries or the back and hip.
