Purified FSH: There are injections that fertility doctors use that contain fsh. In the past, pergonal (menotropins) was used to stimulate ovarian egg production and was a mixture of purified fsh and lh. To simulate the lh surge during fertility stimulation cycles, the pregnancy hormone HCG is used in high doses.
