How does a colposcopy (cervical biopsy) compare to getting an iud, in terms of discomfort?

About the same: A cervical biopsy is taking a part of the cervix, while an iud is inserting a foreign body into the uterus. They are not exactly equivalent, thought most women do not feel much of a cervical biopsy, while you will cramp with the iud more.
