Ca 27.29: Cancer antigen test for breast cancer is considered normal if the level is under 40 units per ml. This test is however non-specific for breast cancer.

Up to 38-40 but...: ...Please do not take it out of context. It can go up due to other reasons and can be normal even in the presence of active cancer. It is just another tool that helps us manage cancer, not the ultimate truth. Do not let a number rule your life.
