How can the pharmacist help you prevent adverse drug reactions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Great resource: Pharmacists can double-check for possible medication interactions, and teach you all about potential side effects to watch for & the best times/ways to take your medication(s) - with food or empty stomach, time of day, foods or activities to avoid while on meds, etc. To get the best & fullest info, make sure your pharmacist knows all meds, otcs, supplements & herbs you are taking, & any allergies.
