Air filters: Air filters can help and changing the a/c filters frequently. Get your ducts cleaned also.

Things like fragrance emitters, scented laundry detergent, perfume, fragrant fabric softeners, etc. all add to the background load of airborne particles. Keeping the humidity below 50% reduces dust mite growth. Using particle or electronic air filters also helps.
