A member asked:

Would a delay in performing pacemaker implantation cause permanent complications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why do you need it?: If you're passing out with long pauses in your rhythm, delaying implantation could be lethal. If your symptoms are infrequent and mild, delay is acceptable. It all depends on the indication.
