After how many days of pacemaker implantation, can a person can have sex, whether male or female?

Depends: A pacemaker is inserted to control the heart rhythm. This is usually set by a servo mechanism to work within defined parameters: if the heart rate goes below, say 50, or above, say 120. Two things: the wound needs to heal, and you don't want to have the pacemaker pocket disrupted; if your heart rate goes above the defined limits too soon, you may not capture the way you need to.

Pacemaker: Uaually once the incision heals patients can start to resume their normal activities. It is very important that you continue to not raise your arm on the implanted side above the shoulder and not bear weight on that arm for the full 6 to 8 weeks after implantation. Activities such as swimming and golf need to be avoided until cleared by cardiology.
