Hospital/cancer ctr: In addition to cancer hospital, also you would be able to find them at some cancer centers.

Depends on market: In larger metro markets children's hospital would be the most likely place but they can work out of private practices or adult hospitals as well. In an ideal world a pediatric hospital affiliated with a cancer center would b the preferred place.

The vast majority...: Work at tertiary care medical centers and located in larger cities. There are some who work in smaller practices, but maintain a close affiliation with larger medical centers. This enables their patients to receive the highly specialized diagnostic, therapeutic and post-treatment surveillance services they need. When patients live far from their oncologist, local practioners help to provide care.
