Salivary gland test: A sialogram involves injecting a raidopaque dye medium into the orifice or opening of the salivary gland duct to determine the architecture of the salivary gland and it's ductal structures. An x-ray is taken after the dye is injected to determine if there is a problem. Can be done by an ent, an oral surgeon, or a radiologist.
