Angiotensin II: Angiotensin ii stimulates the adrenal cortex to produce aldosterone which regulates salt and water reabsorption in the kidney. It is a vasoconstrictor and has effects to drive up BP through both these mechanisms. It potentates sympathetic neural output at the pregnant livonia level.
