Can you get too much folic acid?

Nope.: All vitamin b complex substances are water-soluble, which means that excess ingested amounts are expelled in the urine, thus avoiding any hypervitaminosis risks. Only the elderly can have subacute spinal degeneration from inadequate vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) while taking excessive folic acid.
