Doesn't matter: I presume you are referring to a home pregnancy test. You are correct..400 micrograms is recommended. Not sure how to get that from your dosages there: 5 mg is 5000 micrograms! You need 1/2 mg tablets! It is best if this has been taken for weeks leading up to pregnancy. I am unable to find any information on best time of day to take folic acid; I suspect it doesn't matter.
