No: Vitamin d supplementation does not raise ldl. Suboptimal diet does. Reduce your meat, fat, and oil intake (including dairy-based products). Also have your thyroid level checked since a low level can adversely affect cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Regular dose: Vitamin D does not raise LDL. You may wish to take 2000 units of vitamin D3 on a daily basis for a more natural intake.
