Good idea to: Especially if the cough is the worst symptom. If you have yet to or not vaccinated your child for whooping cough you need to see the doctor to rule it out. Unfortunately whooping cough rates have increased over the years because many parents don't believe in immunizing anymore. It can be lethal to infants and seniors.
