Not uncommon: It is thought that one of the things that increases the development of spider angiomas is hormones, especially estrogen. The levels of many hormones sky rocket with pregnancy and a number of women see a marked increase in the occurrence of spider angiomas. There are several ways to treat them and many doctors do that.
