Can gum pain cause migraine-like headaches?

Gum pain?: What do mean by gum pain? How are u distinguishing gum from tooth pain. Pain from one location if its intense enough can trigger a headache secondarily. U should get the gum pain evaluated to make sure u don't have a decayed or abscessed tooth. If u have upper teeth pain it could be "maxillary tooth" pain which may be reflective of a sinus infection. This would be accompanied by sinus symptoms.

Trigger points?: Trigger points refer pain to distant sites. You could have a back or shoulder problem tha t radiates pain to the gums, masseters and temporalis muscles. This is an extension of TMJ type conditions.

Sort of: Gum pain could be indicative of an infection (tooth, abscess, etc) and this could certainly cause a significant headache. If you have a mouth/gum problem i'd see your dentist sooner rather than later as it can become a serious issue quickly.
