Specialist or PCP!: A good family phycisian will know your build (apple/pear), and also know your family hx. Checking b p is standard, getting your lipids interpreted, and finally your hgba1c, complete the picture. Bmis are ok, but body composition analysis is better. You should leave knowing your ideal weight.
