Not really: Psychosis has to do with impaired reality testing--hearing voices, seeing things that aren't there, believing things that objectively cannot be. Psychotic individuals certainly can be suicidal, including having voices telling them to kill themselves. However, most people who are suicidal are not psychotic; they just believe that life is no longer worth living, usually because of life stressors..
