Cryoglobulin screen - is that a test for infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cryoglobulin: Cryoglobulins are antibodies that separate at low temperatures. In some conditions certain types of abnormal antibodies are produced that basically clump together when they drop a little bit below normal body temperature. It can be caused by infections, autoimmune diseases, inflammation of vessels, and kidney disease among others.
