Most R self limited: Capillary hemangiomas will generally grow faster than the kid for about 6-8 m, slow then start to shrink down into the skin leaving a pale or parchment like surface by the age of 4.Rarely do they need any work. If they might interfere with vision of distort the nose some dermatologists might treat to decrease size.Discuss your concerns with your dr & get a 2nd opinion if u feel the need.

Lots of options: Find a doctor, or children's hospital that has a vascular anomalies clinic or specialty and get the opinion of people that see these all the time. Depending on size, etc, treatment may or may not be appropriate but there is a time crunch for certain treatments to be effective (like propranolol).
