Possibly: Heavy bleeding is common and can be caused by many conditions. If you are late for your period then check a pregnancy test. If positive see your doctor. Early pregnancy bleeding may be normal but may also be signs of a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. If you are not pregnant heavy bleeding may be caused by fibroids, adenomyosis or other conditions. Again, see you dr. For an evaluation.
