Depression+: First have a medical exam to rule out common medical conditions that can cause depression such as a thyroid condition or other organ malfuctions or abnormality. If this comes back without a positive finding, then seek a competent psychologist or psychotherapist. Individual therapy along with exercise, diet, adequate sleep, affirmations, good social relationships can all help.
