Antabuse: Antabuse is used to deter alcohol consumption. Disulfiram (antabuse) is used to treat moderate to severe alcohol use disorder by causing an “unpleasant reaction” when alcohol is used. It is a prescription medication that is best used as part of rehabilitation program that includes counseling.
