Try fit-bit: I am a user but have no fiscal interest in the company.
Look at fitbit.Com. Definitely has an android (methyltestosterone) app.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.

I agree completely with the Fitbit recommendation--it is very motivating. Some others, depending on what type of fitness you are hoping for, include (all free, and I also have no connection to any, other than being a user): "RunDouble", "MapMyRun" (works with biking and other exercise also), "c25k pro" (running), "Abs Trainer Free," and "100 Pushups."

No: Many have good features. It would be best to ask that at a tech website like cnet.Com.
