Several: Acitretin, or soriatane, (acitretin) is a potent oral retinoid frequently used in patients with psoriasis. It is extremely teratogenic (read: do not take if you may get pregnant) can cause high lipid levels in blood, dry skin and mucous membranes, and liver damage. Also, alcohol use must be avoided while on this medication.
