A member asked:

Can i eat sweets and still keep my blood glucose on target?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You shouldn't eat sweets. Your diabetes educator most likely told you this. Diabetes is due to excess sugar due to poor Insulin production and/or Insulin sensitivity. So, if you add sugar, you're making things worse.
