Science or reality: Difficult to prove scientifically other than patients surrounded by love & intimacy are happier and recover far quicker. Are discharged from hospital sooner & have more to live for. Those with l & i are less likely to be depressed. More likely to seek medical help sooner & follow treatment plan including taking medications. Thus appears to be a huge plus.
