Speaking of love: Young love is such a tender delicate thing for some. Intense sexual drive has often been stronger in young men - even w/o the tender part. Not all, but more young women (16 is young!), feel conflicted about sex for lots of possible reasons. Try to tell him how you feel - not to take it as rejection and that you may just need time. Don't worry that there's something wrong w/ either of you. Best!
